These photographs were taken in a block post made for surveilling a main road to the city and a hospital in Dnipropetrovsk.
This block post was built from shipping containers by soldiers and volunteers. Some soldiers live here, as they had nowhere to return to when they came back from their tour in the ATO zone.
The hospital was quite a challenging environment to work in, as the governement doesn’t want to show too many casualties to the public. I had to be quick and discrete.
Volunteers provide an overwhelming amount of necessities, ranging from food, clothing, shoes, blankets and tents to medical assistance, medicines and psychological aid to soldiers returning from the ATO zone.
